Well, as I told you last week, this week I would like to introduce you to a book which I strongly recommend
you to read.
It's about health and the author of this book is an active doctor named Yumi Nishiyama.

Today, I'm going to quote the following part which is written about hormones.
Four hormones that create people's character
People have different ways of living depending on their character.
Even if you want to build a better life than now, your character may interfere with your wish.
On the other hand, it is also depends a lot on a character
which builds a spirit of trying new things more and more.
Hormones are the things that determine people's character.
It is difficult to change one's character. I think that there are a lot of people who feel that way,
but it is actually easy to change. All you have to do is change the way hormones are secreted.
It's easy to do it – and you can do it by adjusting your nutrition.
There are four hormones that determine character.
The combination of these is like a cocktail and creates different characters.
- Dopamine – this is the happiness hormone and it makes you willing to live and love.
- Serotonin – these are relaxing hormones. Psycho-stable hormones, happy hormones and regulated hormones.
- Testosterone - is the male hormone, fighting hormone.
- Estrogen - is the female hormone, maternal hormone
These four hormones are secreted in your body. Even in men's bodies,
female hormones are secreted in small amounts. Male hormones are also produced in women's bodies.
However, the amount secreted varies from person to person depending on which hormones are secreted
more.
The characteristics and ways of thinking of your personality change,
depend on which hormones are working dominantly.
This is because of what you are eating. The hormones are made of what you eat.
In other words, what kind of person you want to be and what kind of life you want to build...
it is decided by the hormone.
That means that what you eat determines the quality of your life.

After I read this book, I became more careful of what to cook for my family every day.
For example, we should not eat too many carbohydrates.
We should eat a nutritionally balanced diet and eat such foods as soybeans, fermented foods, seafood,
meat, green and yellow vegetables, and fruit.
What surprised me the most was that my constitution had really changed and I didn't get tired like before.
It used to be very hard for me to get up in the morning, but now I’m able to do so without any problems.
I don't feel tired and feel happy. I guess It is because enough serotonin or dopamine are beginning
to be produced again...
Next week, I'm going to introduce you to what kind of meals should be eaten every day.
