こんにちは、JEEPA認定英会話コーチのジョーンズ由美です。

Hello, I'm Yumi Jones, JEEPA certified English conversation coach.
How are you doing, everyone?
It's fine weather in Melbourne today.
Well, it sounds like bushfires are a big problem in California now.
Our family lived there for about eight years.
Where we lived, the weather was kind of similar to Melbourne.
I remember we used to worry about wildfires every year in summer because it was dry.
There was smoke coming from the mountain area.
Japan has a warm and humid climate, so it wasn't dry enough to have a wildfire,
so I guess it's hard to imagine.
Australia also has large desert areas and a mild climate in about half of the land,
so it can be especially dry in summer and the lawns can be crispy.
So we have to be careful about bushfires then.
I wish all the best to the people in California.
Well, this time, following on from my last article on hormones and their relationship with the food we eat,
let's look specifically at how to make a “clockwise plate” recommended by Dr. Nishiyama.
The food in this diet will help you develop the production of serotonin and dopamine.

Asparagus burns energy in the body efficiently and improves fatigue recovery. Vitamin C and E can also be taken at the same time, so it is a nutritional plate recommended for skin damaged by stress and summer UV rays. Serotonin regulates the autonomic nervous system and hormone balance, has a relaxing effect, and calms both mind and body. It promotes motivational dopamine secretion and can be expected to suppress noradrenaline. Citric acid, which is rich in kiwi fruit, is also effective in relieving fatigue.
Dopamine Plates
Position of 1... Tomato
Positions of 2... Sunny Lettuce
Positions of 3... Bean sprouts, broccoli, eggplant
Positions of 4.... Tofu, Meat, (Mabo Tofu)
Positions of 5... Salmon, meat
Positions of 6... Sweet potato
Positions of 7... Kiwis, persimmons, etc.

White rice rice, egg soup
The dopamine plate nurtures both instantaneous energy and endurance, and improves the body and motivation. This means you’ll feel energized and not tired. In addition to replenishing the iron content essential for the maintenance of life activities and making the most of energy, we can expect the effect of converting high-quality protein into happy hormones and dopamine, turning on our motivation switches, and even makes your skin fresh. Dopamine, the driving force for life, continues its dopamine cycle, and it makes you feel full of happiness.
So what do you think? Give it a try?
The point is to to take a small amount of food in a well-balanced way. By doing so, the necessary energy for the body will be made. As explained in another chapter of the book, a sudden increase in blood sugar levels creates a serious burden to body. It is important to eat clockwise (with the foods above) to avoid that. By doing so, you can raise your blood sugar level slowly.
Next week, let's see what the negative effects of a sharp rise in blood sugar levels in the body are.
Have a good weekend everyone!
See you next week!
