Hi all.
I'm Yumi, a JEEPA certified English conversation coach.
Today in Melbourne, there are blue skies with some clouds and it’s 28 degrees.
Although, it was 18 degrees yesterday. Typical Melbourne weather.
Recently, the days are getting longer, so the sunset time is about 8:30 p.m.
Because of the covid, my husband works from home a couple of days of a week, so we sometimes go for dog walks after dinner to see the sunset.
↓This is the sunset pic at the beach that I took a couple of days ago.
It's beautiful, isn't it?!
By the way, this video is from the day when it was 33 degrees.
There were many people who were enjoying the pleasant sea breeze on the beach.

There is no longer a regulation to wear a mask outdoors.
Should I be pleased about it or not... it's a little complicated...
There are still restrictions on wearing masks indoors such as supermarkets etc.
Well, today, I'm going to introduce you a book which I read a few days ago.
The strongest vegetable soup
By Hiroshi Maeda (who is a world authority on anticancer drugs)
In this book, it was written that prevention is the most important thing against cancer, and vegetable soup is good for prevention.
The reason why vegetable soup is good is that it contains a large amount of substances which can erase the highly toxic, reactive oxygen which is related to most diseases, including cancer and aging.
By simply cooking vegetables in boiling water and making them into a soup, it boosts the power of the antioxidants that are in the vegetables.
So, as the chef of my family, I made vegetable soup for them.
It was very easy to make....
Just put a variety of vegetables in a saucepan, pour water and boil them.
I put pumpkins, onions, tomatoes, Chinese cabbage, zucchini, carrots, and other appropriate vegetables that were in the refrigerator in the pot.
Then, the pumpkin seeds and onion skins were discarded, but the carrot skin was not peeled.. You can eat it as it is like pot au feu, or you can eat it as a potage soup using a juicer mixer.
By the way, potage soup was more popular in our household.
We had this soup as a side dish with pasta and other such meals every day this week.
Vegetables are favorite of your intestinal bacteria too, so there is no doubt that they are good for the body.
Here’s the book that I read this in. ↓
It's not easy to stay healthy, is it?!
By the way, you can read these books (and many others) by subscribing to Kindle Unlimited
on Amazon Japan.
That's about it today.
Have a good healthy weekend everyone.
See you next week
Cheers
Yumi
